IN LIGHT OF THE CURRENT SITUATION WE ARE AWARE OF DAILY CHANGING GUIDANCE IN REGARDS TO PUBLIC MEETINGS.
PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK WITH GROUP ORGANISERS FOR DETAILS OF MEETINGS. THIS PAGE WILL BE UPDATED AS SOON AS INFORMATION IS RECEIVED.
We have 3 different mid-week groups meeting together to read scripture chat, pray and generally enjoy an informal time of fellowship and encouragement. The Wednesday meetings are at 10.30am – 12.15pm at Rachel's home and provide time to share God's word together and giving valuable prayer support over coffee and biscuits.
Every Thursday evening at 7.30pm there is an opportunity to meet with friends for a time of fellowship, this is held alternate Thursdays at the church or at someone's home, please contact Pastor Anthony to check for venue.
BYG Mondays are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month 6.00pm - 8.00pm for the younger people of our fellowship. This is an opportunity for their own time of study and reflection, with a chance to explore their faith and strengthen understanding, we are currently doing the Youth Alpha Course and it is an informal social time which includes a pizza supper at Rachel and David's home.
As a general rule the men's group meet on the 4th Wednesday of the month and have various different activities throughout the year, in the past this has included meals, film evenings, village walks (often ending up in a local hostelry) or have had guest speakers presenting something. If you would be interested in joining in please speak to David Ellison or Mike Anderson.
In March they will be meeting at the home of Alex and Liz Sam for an authentic Ghanaian supper and a skittles evening is planned at the Soar bridge Inn for the April meeting.
Join Faye and friends every 2nd and 4th Tuesday 12.30pm – 2.00pm for a Singing Lunch. Billed as singing therapy in action it is a time to get together to sing your favourite songs of the past to lift your spirits and make new friends. Bring your own lunch, drinks are provided.
All these meetings are open to all (with the exception of BYG which has age limits!) and we encourage everyone to join in whenever possible.
